Shell ginger fruit contains large amount of polyphenols and minerals. Its anti-oxidant effect, detoxification and anti-aging effects are gaining interest. In Okinawa, it has been used as a medicinal herb for a long time. Decocting the seeds is said to have a stomachic and intestinal regulating effect.

<How best to enjoy>
Lightly crush about 15 fruit with your fingers and simmer in 1 liter of water. When it boils, simmer again over low heat for about 10 minutes, followed by leaving it with the lid on for about 10 minutes. You can get the second decoction by repeating the same process. At the end, you can boil it in half the amount of water and put it in a bath to enjoy as shell ginger bath. We also recommend drinking it with hot milk (with honey)!
